Oliver McCrossan has been a professional photographer in Newbridge for over forty years.
His interest in photography goes back to 1950 when he took up photography as a hobby, and over the years he has built up a huge archive of pictures. In addition to his wedding and studio photography, he has also worked as a freelance press photographer and his work has appeared in provincial and national papers and magazines both here and in the UK.
Oliver’s other interests include motorsport, classic cars, and local history. He was secretary of the Curragh Local History Group for eighteen years. Back in the 1960s he was also secretary and a founder member of the Co. Kildare Motor Club.
