Something very special happened in Newbridge Community Library on Friday 4th October at 7 pm with the launch of a new anthology penned by local writers as part of the 10th Annual Kildare Readers Festival. The guest speaker, Eamon Dillon, Assistant Editor of the Sunday World and author of four best-selling books, @EomoD, kicked off proceedings with some sage advice to a large and enthusiastic crowd.
Timeless in Kildare is an eclectic miscellany from Ink Tank, the creative writing group based in Newbridge Community Library. The natural diversity of the group is captured in the variety of poetry, prose, reflections and short stories contained in the pages. Imagination soars, memories are rekindled, and stories created, each linked in some way to Kildare.
